A Note from Sylvia
Welcome to breathe bar! I hope you enjoy breathe bar as much as I have enjoyed bringing it to life. It has been quite the journey. I'm an Emmy Award winning television producer and former Peace Corps volunteer. Several years ago, my doctor suggested meditation to help manage stress - I was working a lot, always on-the-go, stretched thin. I am sure many of you can relate. Once I got on the cushion, I experienced the benefits - better focus and concentration, better sleep, increased happiness levels, the list goes on and on. The positive impact of my meditation practice led me to become a passionate believer who wants to share its transformative benefits with as many people as possible. The result: breathe bar. I believe that meditation shouldn't be a hidden secret sauce- my goal is to demystify it, make it accessible, inviting and approachable. At the end of the day, it's about self-care, compassion, connection, and community, right? See you soon!
